Simon Carter, National Leader of Innovation, Colliers International Australia, will be visiting India in April 2007 to participate in the ‘Real Estate Investment World India 2007’, a conference being co-sponsored by Colliers International India. |
Mr. Carter will be one of the key speakers at the event.He will be addressing an audience of some most noted developers and investors in the Indian real estate market. The key focus of his discussion will revolve around the subject of Sustainability in the Real Estate Industry.
Simon Carter is frequently sought after to present at leading conferences within Australia and internationally. His expertise is in providing innovative, forward and strategic thoughts on how organizations can best respond to and benefit from developing issues such as sustainability, new work practices, the transforming workforce and the knowledge economy. He has been consistently involved in building strategy for developers and occupiers and educating stakeholders to facilitate implementation. He is also the developer and manager of Colliers International’s Future Proof Assessment service and facilitates the organization’s own sustainability programme.
Apart from this, Simon has authored ‘Lifeblood’, a groundbreaking report launched by Colliers International in March 2006. ‘Lifeblood’ examines five major imperatives for action being faced by Australian businesses and the critical role of office buildings and workplaces in being able to respond to them. Simon's academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Building Science from Victoria University, Wellington, Australia in 1994 and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Victoria University, Wellington, Australia in 1997.
