Background
Cisco Systems is the world ’s leading provider of networking solutions for the Internet. Outsourcing of non-core skills has been a key element of Cisco ’s worldwide expansion programme and the CICSE team was appointed to manage the acquisition of its growing European, Middle East and Africa office portfolio.
Objective
To provide an integrated service to Cisco ’s real estate managers in delivering real estate solutions to their internal clients,with the aim of providing flexible, cost-efficient results.
Fulfilling the objective
The CICSE team worked closely with Colliers International companies and other high-quality service providers to co-ordinate the acquisition of ore than 150 office resources for Cisco, totalling over seven million square feet, in more than 20 countries.
Our team assisted Cisco with internal business planning,co-ordinated local service providers and managed a comprehensive internal database, which allowed immediate access to critical business information.
We provided comprehensive and unbiased market information and aligned market supply with Cisco’s business needs. We provided solutions within individual markets, negotiated the best terms and managed legal and financial transactions issues. Viewing Cisco’s property assets as a portfolio, rather than individual elements, helped to improve efficiency and performance overall.
