Two Colliers Ostendorf-Morris VP's Awarded CCIM Designation

Cleveland, Ohio – September 15, 2009 – Colliers Ostendorf-Morris, one of Northeast Ohio’s leading commercial real estate and property management firms, announced today that two of the company’s vice presidents, Bennett Morrison and Kevin Riley, were awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute, one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world.   

The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon successful completion of a graduate-level education curriculum that addresses financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis.  CCIMs are recognized as industry experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.  Only 150 designations were earned this year in the U.S.

Mr. Morrison and Mr. Riley are responsible for a broad range of commercial real estate services including lease negotiations, acquisition and disposition transactions, and financial modeling.  They help both public and private companies develop and execute real estate strategies that support their business goals, as well as help local and national investors evaluate and analyze investment opportunities.  Both Riley and Morrison are members of Cleveland Area Board of Realtors (CABOR), Ohio Association of Realtors (OAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). 

A member of Colliers since 2005 and a lifetime resident of Cleveland, Mr. Morrison serves the growth and development of the city as a member of the Downtown Cleveland Alliance’s Marketing Task Force.

Mr. Riley joined Colliers in 2004, and is actively involved in the community as a past chairman of the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders Group, a member of the Detroit-Shoreway Community Development Housing and Asset committee and a member of the Ronald McDonald House’s Fund Development committee.
