 Vernon F. Schultz, SIOR, Executive Vice President; Frederick L. Regnery, Senior Vice President; and Michael L. Senner, SIOR, Senior Vice President, all with Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc.’s (Colliers B&K) Industrial Services Group, represented Office Concepts in a 130,000-square-foot lease renegotiation and extension at 13820 Business Center Drive, Lake Forest, IL. The 197,982-square-foot building was constructed in 1996 in Green Oaks Business Park. Its current owner is International Airport Centers. 

Office Concepts is an authorized Steelcase and Steelcase Design partnership dealer.  In addition, Office Concepts represents over 250 other furniture manufacturers including National, Gianni, and Global, among others.  The company’s Lake Forest facility has over 3,000 racked and temperature controlled storage bays, 11 loading docks, a full service center, as well as a 'working showroom' for the sales and planning staff. The facility supports Office Concepts’ Asset Management business and serves as the sales center for the Lake County market.  The company has occupied the building since 1997 and remains committed to the area.

“Office Concepts was ultimately seeking a reduction in occupancy costs but also had a strong desire to remain in the immediate area because of the proximity to its customer base and the high quality of the existing building,” said Regnery.  “We were able to negotiate a long-term renewal and extension at a substantial annual savings on their behalf.”
