The project to create the largest office center in Bulgaria, European Trade Center, was officially presented at a press conference in Sofia. It will have third generation class A office space and its planning and construction will be based on the latest innovative and high-tech solutions available. European Trade Center, which is situated on Tzarigradsko Shosse in Sofia, includes the highest office building (65 m) currently under construction in the country. Located on the largest traffic artery in Sofia, the office center is within 5.5 km from the city center and 4.5 km from Sofia airport.

European Trade Center consists of five class A office buildings with a total build-up area of 70,000 m2. Building A dominates its surroundings with its impressive size and architecture. It will be the first landmark to be noticed when arriving from Sofia Airport and the Trakia Highway. The adjacent Carrefour Tzarigradsko Mall adds value to the project by presenting additional conveniences for future tenants. The size and location of buildings B, C, D and E makes them suitable for large corporate and administrative offices.

Significant resources have been engaged so far due to the large scale of the project. According to Ilian Iliev, the architect of the project, about 60 % of the construction and engineering resources in Sofia have been engaged in building the whole complex. The opening of the office center is planned for January 2010.
