Atlanta's Top Industrial Leases for Q3 2009

Atlanta, GA

The Atlanta market had 10 top industrial leasing transactions for the third quarter. They include:

  • Jacobson Cos. renewed 323,500 square feet at 5345 Old Dixie Highway in Forest Park, GA. Doug Smith and Will Lombard of Seefried Properties represented the landlord. Chris Tomsulo of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Jacobson.
  • FedEx SmartPost signed a 201,600-square-foot lease at 4644 SouthPark Blvd. in Ellenwood. John Downing of McDonald Development represented the landlord. Fred Placke of Fischer & Co. represented FedEx SmartPost.
  • McKesson Medical Surgery signed a 200,000-square-foot lease at 1005 Satellite Blvd. in Suwanee. John Wilson of Terminus Realty Advisors represented the landlord and McKesson Medical Surgery.
  • Stericycle renewed 180,000 square feet at 2084 Lake Industrial Court in Conyers. Adam Richards and Tyler Fann of Resource Real Estate Partners represented the landlord. CB Richard Ellis represented Stericycle.
  • Dendreon Corp. signed a 160,000-square-foot lease for Building 1 on Oakley Industrial Boulevard in Union City. Carr Carothers and Stan Conway of Majestic Realty represented the landlord. Alan Clayton and Matthew Oliaro of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Dendreion Corp.
  • Trader Joe's signed a 159,759-square-foot lease at 2935 Shawnee Industrial Way in Suwanee. Elizabeth McSweene and Chris Cummings of Colliers Spectrum Cauble represented the landlord. 
  • American Dawn Inc. renewed 144,000 square feet at 3655 Atlanta Industrial Drive NW, Building 200 in Atlanta. Kevin Caille, Bradley Pope, Mike Chambers and Jack Haden of NAI Brannen Goddard represented the landlord.
  • BDI Laguna renewed 132,680 square feet at 3960 Royal Drive in Kennesaw. Tom Crowe of Hodges Management and Leasing represented the landlord. Nathan Anderson and Joseph Mullican of NAI Brannen Goddard represented BDI Laguna.
  • Rockwell Collins Inc signed a 108,707-square-foot lease at 2205 Northmont Parkway, Building 900 in Duluth. Matthew Oliaro and Nicole Janney of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord. Colliers Spectrum Cauble represented Rockwell Collins Inc.
  • Beaver Paper & Packaging Inc. signed a 97,844-square-foot lease at 2420 Tech Center Parkway Building E in Lawrenceville. Walker Wellford of Taylor & Mathis represented the landlord. Nathan Anderson and Darren Butler of NAI Brannen Goddard represented Beaver Paper & Packaging Inc.
